Senior pupils’ achievements were acknowledged at a prize-giving evening held on Tuesday 18th September 2007. New Sixth Form girls were presented with scrolls outlining their GCSE achievements. Many additional prizes and trophies were awarded, including The Spirit of St Dominic’s Awards, Year prizes, Physical Education Awards, House Trophies and Head Girl Award.
Mr Robert Reeves presented Alexandra Dodd and Charlotte Payton with the Brewood & District Rotary Club ‘Social Awareness Award’. As well as Sixth Form pupils, past and present, the evening was also attended by School Directors, the Headteacher, teaching and administration staff and senior pupils. The School was very fortunate to have Anna Hemmings as Guest of Honour this year.
Anna is Britain’s leading female marathon canoeist and is the current world and European champion.

Mr P Lopez, Chairman of Directors, gave the opening address to the ceremony. This was followed by the Headteacher’s report, which was intermittently sprinkled with delightful musical performances by Charlotte Davies, Elizabeth Johnston and an outstanding duet by Kristal Watkins and Annabel Craddock.
Following beautiful musical interludes by both the Junior and Senior Choirs, Anna Hemmings delivered a captivating speech before presenting pupils with their prizes and scrolls.
Head Girl, Rachel Clansey, drew the evening to a close with a Vote of Thanks.
Next year's Senior Prize-giving will be held on Thursday 25th September 2008.
