New Science Prep Room

The science preparation room was completely refurbished during the 2007 summer break and now provides state of the art facilities for both GCSE and A Level science practical experiments.

Our new equipment includes a sterilisation autoclave, distilled water unit, several new data monitoring sensors and a digital microscope. All current aspects of A Level science courses can now be addressed.

Also included in the refurbishment was a fume extraction cupboard and lockable metal cupboards for the safe storage of flammable liquids, acids and alkalies. Storage of our equipment has been enhanced with the provision of an extensive vertical racking system.
