Television/Theatre Music Workshops......

On Tuesday 4th March forty girls from GCSE Performing Arts and Theatre Studies ‘A’ level courses had a fantastic time in the new Drama Studio in television workshops led by the team from Ask Productions.......

The team from Ask, led by BBC professional presenters Anna Kumblé (MTV, CBBC, CITV Disney, Nickleodeon) and Sophie McDonnell (Fame Academy, The Saturday Show, Children in Need, 50/50 . .).  taught studio skills and camera technique. Ex-pupil Jodie Kumblé, who graduated from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts this summer (and has already had 3 professional acting jobs!) also led an inspiring musical theatre workshop and gave the girls lots of invaluable advice regarding auditions and Drama School entry. Their professional feedback was that our girls are very talented but also “very natural” and they would love to return in the future.

ASK Productions is a company which provides Masterclasses predominantly for educational institutions. The Masterclasses demonstrate and teach skills from within the Entertainment Industry and the performing arts field.

ASK Productions is launching in April 08 but ran a special for St. Dominic's as Jodie Kumblé, who is one of the tutors of the Theatre Masterclass, attended St. Dominic's and loved the school so much.
