History
St Dominic’s HS.G. was established in 1920 to provide superior education for girls aged rising 3-18 and boys aged rising 3-7 and operating as a Charitable Trust since 1975,
In 1987 the Sir Jack Hayward sports hall was opened and this was soon followed by the purpose built Junior school in 1990. Our programme of development has recently seen a bespoke Sixth form centre opening in September 2007 along with a state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre.
St Dominic’s H.S.G. unique caring ethos and modern facilities has resulted in a very special school that continues to teach generation after generation.
