Every year St. Dominic's runs a Gifted and Talented summer school. Past activities have included making a film, first aid, a trip and workshop at The Globe Theatre, architecture workshop, Wolverhampton Art Gallery visit, forensic scientists activities at the Think Tank '@ Bristol' and drama activities with Highly Sprung. We aim to cater for all talents in a stimulating way by inviting in visitors and specialists, as well as going on visits. This summer involved a 'Poetry Slam' workshop and trips to Cosford Air Museum, Liverpool and the Birmingham Hippodrome to see 'Mary Poppins'. The school day doesn’t have to end at St Dominic’s when the bell rings.  We have a vast and exciting range of activities on offer through our innovative “extended days.”
